Illinois Health Connect operates in all counties in the State of Illinois. If a
client lives in Adams, Brown, Cook, DeKalb, Henderson, Henry, Jackson, Kane, Knox, Lee, Livingston, Madison, McHenry, McLean, Mercer, Peoria, Perry, Pike, Randolph, Rock Island, Scott, St. Clair, Tazewell, Warren, Washington, Williamson, Winnebago or Woodford County, the client can choose either Illinois Health Connect or a voluntary
managed care plan.
A voluntary managed care plan is an HMO or "HMO-like" plan. If the client lives
in one of these counties, they need to enroll through the Illinois Client Enrollment
Broker.
